Chip & dip bowls

The prototype was made with a plunge router in maple and after going through several bits I switched to cherry for the production pieces which were given to family members one Christmas. I used a food-friendly, non-toxic finish on this one. The small porcelain cups are readily available at most house wares stores.

Entertainment Center

This was my first furniture piece that was built to hold my TV, stereo and CD portfolio. It was made of solid red oak. After dragging it around in several moves it was donated to the St. Andrews Church rummage sale in Marblehead so not sure where it is now.

Whale’s tail wine rack

These contemporary vertical wine rack were made in a couple of configurations This is a 12 bottle version (73.5” high) but over a dozen 11 bottle versions of these were made as gifts and wedding presents. The woods used varied from cherry to ash.
